Halloween Origins
Bony Tony is a character originally developed for an annual Halloween party in Sunnyslope, Arizona. Over many decades of performances and recordings, the Afterlife with Bony Tony has evolved to become an expression and celebration of those who have died and an opportunity for reflection, mourning, appreciation and joy.
An Education in Mortality
The Afterlife with Bony Tony is the only live, animated puppet show in the world dedicated to creating a safe space for discussion and education on the topic of death and the process of grieving.
Puppetry with Purpose
The extensive history and legacy of puppetry as a performance art and method of communication dates back to the earliest of civilizations.
The Afterlife with Bony Tony has been blazing the trail by engineering new technology and techniques to communicate a message of courage and compassion for humanity.
Nathaniel Jack Greene – Producer
“Bony Tony serves as a representation of death while also encouraging an appreciation for life in the current moment. This juxtaposition of character qualities has an underlying empowerment that is needed in the world right now.”
